Attorney Eric Hageman has extensive, nationwide, experience in truck crash cases, having handled trucking cases in fifteen different states. He represents people who have been catastrophically injured (or the families of those who’ve been killed) as a result of the negligence of truck drivers and trucking companies.
Because of the devastation caused by such accidents, Eric is passionate about finding ways to prevent truck accidents and to promote trucking safety, which includes holding accountable trucking companies who don’t make safety a priority.
Eric is a member of the American Association for Justice Truck Accident Litigation Group and has spoken at national seminars on truck accident cases. He was named an “Attorney of the Year*” in 2011 for a truck-accident wrongful death case, and again in 2015 for obtaining compensation for a family for the wrongful death of their young son. Eric has been awarded an AV-rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating for legal ability and ethics.
In 2017, he recovered $45 million for one client who was severely burned and lost limbs and a number of other large recoveries. In 2015, he recovered over $17 million for his clients, including separate cases of $3 million and over $10 million. In 2014, Eric recovered over $16 million for his clients in accident cases, including separate cases of over $4 million and $5 million.

Last week President Obama called on the House of Representatives to follow the Senate’s lead and pass a bipartisan transportation bill that would repair our nation’s roads and bridges. Mr. Obama’s focus was jobs. As an accident attorney, I see the danger in having unsafe roads and bridges. Certainly, the nation does not want another bridge collapse like the one in Minnesota in 2007, when the 35W bridge in Minneapolis fell into the Mississippi River, killing 13 and injuring 145.
