Maple Grove Woman Dies After Crash With Garbage Truck

Colleen Lamberton, 78, of Maple Grove has died from injuries she sustained in a May 8 crash with a garbage truck in Minnetonka. The accident occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Plymouth Road and Arthur Street.

Lamberton was taken to North Memorial Hospital where she died hours later due to blunt force trauma from a vehicle collision, according to a medical examiner’s report. The garbage truck driver sustained minor injuries even though the truck flipped onto its side after the collision.
