Don Miguel Carne Asada Burrito Listeria Recall

Don Miguel brand Carne Asada burritos sold frozen at grocery and convenience stores nationwide and through food service operations have been recalled for Listeria. Consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them as Listeria can cause serious illness and death. At the time of the recall, the company was unaware of any illnesses.

The Carne Asada burrito Listeria recall includes 10,642 pounds of frozen ready-to-eat (RTE) products with the establishment number “EST. 20049” inside the USDA mark of inspection. 

The 7-oz. individually wrapped burritos are sold in wax paper packages labeled “DON MIGUEL Hand Made BURRITO CARNE ASADA” with date code D23270 printed on the package.
