Carver County Bicycle Crash Injures One

A 66-year-old man was seriously injured in a Carver County bicycle crash on Tuesday. The crash happened at about 1:35 p.m. when a vehicle struck a man biking on County Roads 11 and 40 in Dahlgren Township. The cyclist sustained traumatic injuries and was transported to a Minneapolis hospital. The driver, a 75-year-old Belle Plaine woman, was not injured but she was taken to a Waconia hospital for observation. The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
