Fuel Tank Explosion at Thomas Plastic Machinery Injures One

A fuel tank explosion at Thomas Plastic Machinery in Scottsburg, IN injured one person on Thursday. When firefighters arrived at the scene on the 800 block of Armory Place, thick smoke and heavy flames were shooting from the building. It took nine different fire departments to fight the fire. One person suffered burn injuries and was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital.
