Child Seriously Injured in Sauk Rapids Semi Crash

A young boy suffered serious injuries in a crash caused by a semi-truck in Sauk Rapids, MN. The crash happened on Monday morning on Highway 15 at County Road 29. A semi, driven by Yussuf Ahmed Mohamud (32) of St. Cloud, was traveling north on Highway 15 when it ran a stoplight, striking an SUV traveling on County Road 29.

Three people in the SUV, all residents of Sartell, were injured. Seven-year-old Colin McCann was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) with life-threatening injuries. Molly McCann (37) and Ethan McCann (5), were also injured and were taken to St. Cloud Hospital.
