Bicyclist Struck and Killed by Motorist in Waseca County

A Waseca man was struck and killed by a motorist while riding his bike in southern Minnesota. On Tuesday morning at about 6:40 AM, Anthony M. Hodge (30) was cycling northbound on the shoulder of Hwy. 13 when he was struck by an SUV. Hodge died at the scene. The driver of the SUV, identified as Cynthia J. Newman (23) of Waseca, was not injured. According to a report by the Minnesota State Patrol, the road was wet at the time of the crash.
