Man Dies in Irvington House Fire

One man is dead after a fire ripped through a multi-family dwelling in Irvington, NJ on Monday.  He was believed to have been in his 60s, his name has not been released.

When firefighters arrived on the scene of the fire on 40th St, the house was fully engulfed. Neighbors told local news stations they could hear and see the man calling for help from the third-story window, but fire crews could not make it to him in time. Four other adults were able to make it out of the fire safely.
