An 82-year-old man was severely injured in a Saturday fire at Shadow Lake Village, a condo community for residents 55 and older in Monmouth Twp., NJ. The man was airlifted to St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston after suffering smoke inhalation and second- and third-degree burns to his hands, face and head.
The fire at the residence on Hancock Court was reported at 3:59 p.m. It destroyed at least three units before it was contained.
