Woman Injured When Car Hit by a Semi Tractor-Trailer

A woman was seriously injured after her car was struck by a semi tractor-trailer on U.S. 68. This was a hit-and-run accident, and officials want anyone with information about the semi to contact the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office at 419-422-2424.

A 2007 Chrysler minivan was northbound on U.S. 68, when it was struck by an 18-wheeler.  The preliminary investigation determined that the van was then dragged onto the U.S 68 eastbound ramp to Route 15 for a lengthy distance before it stopped. The semi tractor-trailer continued eastbound without stopping.

According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of the van was extricated by mechanical means and was then transported to the hospital.

Lawyers for Minnesota Hit-and-Run Lawsuits

Our lawyers represented a motorcyclist who was hit by a semi truck driver that fled from the scene. Our client was making a left turn, and several of his riding buddies were lined up, also waiting to turn left. They took off after the truck and forced it to stop.

When a professional driver flees from the scene, it is unconscionable. Our lawyers obtained compensation for our client, and thereby held the driver accountable.

Our lawyers are licensed to practice in Minnesota and have offices in the Twin Cities.
