A Dodge pickup truck traveling northbound on Minnesota Highway 218 crossed the center line and entered the southbound lane. A Ford Focus was traveling southbound on Highway 218. The driver of the Ford tried to avoid the pickup, but the 2 vehicles collided head on.
Blooming Prairie Fire and Ambulance, Blooming Prairie Police Department and Steele County Sheriff assisted at the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating.

An accident yesterday on Minnesota Highway 55 in Wright County injured the drivers of the 2 vehicles involved in the crash.
A Ford Taurus was traveling east on Highway 55, about 5 miles west of Rockford. A semitrailer was heading west, also on Highway 55. The car crossed the centerline into the westbound lane and collided head-on with the semi.
