Woman Injured After Semi Crashes into Fireworks Stand in Oakdale

A woman was injured after a semi-truck crashed into a fireworks stand in Oakdale, Wisc. on Monday. The crash happened when a semi-truck left the roadway and struck a fireworks stand set up near the parking lot at Love’s Travel Stop. The impact of the semi-crash pushed the fireworks stand about 15-feet. Ettamae Henze (77) of Wilton, who was sitting inside the stand at the time of the crash, sustained a head injury. She was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and later airlifted to LaCrosse. The semi-driver, Richard Isaoke (47), was also hospitalized. Monroe County police say they believe the semi-driver suffered a medical emergency before the crash.
