A semi crash killed a man in Bremer County near Plainfield, IA on Monday. The crash happened at about 10:00 a.m. when a Freightliner semi-truck driven by Trevor Byram (22) of Waverly failed to stop at a stop sign on the corner of County Road C33 and Highway 218. Jenrry Madrid-Sorto (33) of Columbus, NE died when the semi-truck struck his vehicle.
