Rear-End Crash on Pilot Knob Road Kills Farmington Man

A 65-year-old man died when his SUV was rear-ended on Pilot Knob Rd. in Farmington yesterday. At about 11:30 A.M., Mark Holton was waiting to turn east onto 206th St. W from the lefthand lane of southbound Pilot Knob Rd when his SUV was rear-ended by a pick-up truck driven by Jacob Askew (29). Holton died at the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol and Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s are working with the Farmington Police Department to investigate the crash.
