Propane is the suspected source of a house explosion in Berne, NY last night that killed Victor Porlier, 83 and Lois Porlier, 72. The blast occurred around 8:20 p.m. Soon after, the three-story home located at 1470 Hilltop Lane was enveloped in flames.
