Moorhead Bicycle Crash Seriously Injures Teenage Girl

A 15-year-old girl was seriously injured after she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle in Moorhead, Minn. The crash happened on Tuesday evening at the intersection of 40th Avenue and 11th Street South. The car’s driver, David Grout (31), struck the teenager while she was moving through a marked crosswalk. The teenager was taken to Sanford Health. After interviewing the driver, police say the crash appears to have been caused by inattentive driving. An investigation is ongoing.
