Man Dies from Injuries Sustained in St. Paul House Fire

Four days after a March 14 fire at his St. Paul home, Gary Bruce Blaske, 66, died from his injuries. Firefighters were called to the scene in the 600 block of Minnehaha Ave. W. around 8:14 a.m. When they arrived, heavy smoke was pouring from the house.  Blaske, the only person inside the home, was transported to an area hospital where he died on March 19 of complications from his injuries.

The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
