House Fire in Hopewell Township Kills One, Neighbors Report Hearing Explosion

One person died in a house fire in Hopewell Township, PA last Friday morning. Shortly before 3:00 A.M., firefighters received reports of a person trapped inside a home engulfed with flames on McIntosh Drive. Neighbors reported hearing what sounded like an explosion. Sadly, one person died in the fire. Others inside the home were able to evacuate. Neighbor Mark Alviani told WPXI News, “I was just hoping that the people got out safely. The home can be rebuilt, but you can’t replace a life.”
