House Explosion Cleveland’s Broadway-Slavic Village Injures 2

Two people were injured in a house explosion in Cleveland’s Broadway-Slavic Village neighborhood on August 3. A woman, 59, and a man, 67, suffered burn injuries and were transported to MetroHealth Hospital.

A fire followed the blast which occurred around 1:15 p.m. ripping apart the two-story house on East 57th Street. An investigation into the source of the blast is ongoing.
