Head-on Car Crash Near Lake Mille Lacs Kills Two

A head-on car crash near Lake Mille Lacs killed two people late Wednesday morning. The crash happened on Highway 65 near Highway 27 in White Pine Township, Minn. A Toyota Camry heading south on Highway 65 moved into the northbound lane to pass a minivan when it collided with a northbound Toyota Rav4. The driver and a passenger of the Rav4, Sandra Lee Erickson-Brown (75) and Wayne Emanuel Brown (84), both from Jacobson, died in the crash.

The condition of the Camry driver, a 23-year-old from Brooklyn Park, has yet to be released. The driver of the minivan was not injured.
