1 Woman Injured in Seminole, OK House Explosion

A woman in Seminole, OK suffered 2nd and 3rd-degree burns when an explosion occurred at her home in the evening hours of January 15. Two men who were driving in the 1300 block of Eureka Street when the blast occurred rushed into the house navigating the complete structural damage and rescued the woman.

Emergency responders treated the woman at the scene before she was airlifted to a hospital in Oklahoma City. Officials say the exact cause of the explosion is unknown at this time. The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
