Oak Grove House Explosion Injures 1 in MN

A man who sustained serious injuries when his Oak Grove house exploded on December 18 is receiving treatment at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. The blast, which occurred around 5:30, damaged the home located in the 4400 block of 214th Avenue Northwest.

Officials are still trying to determine the cause of the explosion. The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office told local media that they were called to the scene by the man’s wife who returned home to find the house significantly damaged and was worried her husband was trapped inside. An investigation is underway.
