Monroe County Semi Crash Kills Woman, Seriously Injures 2 Others

A semi crash in Monroe County killed a woman and seriously injured two other people on Tuesday morning. The crash happened at the intersection of State Highway 131 and County Highway A in Wilton Township. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, a car driven by Wade Streeter was driving east on County Highway A. When the car crossed the intersection of Highway 131, it was struck by a southbound semi-truck driven by Michael McCormick. The car flipped over on impact, trapping two people inside. A passenger in the car, Ida Yoder (49) of Tomah, died in the crash. Streeter and another passenger suffered life-threatening injuries.
