Minnesota Teen Killed in Crash Involving Car and Semi-Truck

A Minnesota teen died and two others were seriously injured in a crash involving a car and a semi-trailer truck hauling cattle. The collision happened at about 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday in Mabel, MN. The car was turning left from northbound Lyndale Street onto Highway 44 when it was struck by a westbound semi-truck.

Dylan A. Delaney (17), a passenger in the car, died in the crash. The car’s driver, Lauren E. Bedard (19) and another passenger, Spencer Douglas (15), suffered critical injuries. The semi-truck driver, Perry L. Omodt (50), was not injured. About a half-dozen of the 30 cattle in the truck also died in the crash.
