A Wisconsin couple died in a car crash in Osceola last Thursday. The near head-on crash happened at about 11:30 PM on Highway 35 north of 90th Avenue, about 25 miles north of Stillwater, MN. Scott Brust (58) and Lisa Swanson (53) of Cushing, WI were driving their pick-up truck north on Highway 35 when a southbound pick-up truck crashed into their vehicle. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says that the two vehicles crashed near the center of the roadway in the northbound lane. Both Brust and Swanson died in the crash. The pick-up driver who struck their vehicle survived and was airlifted to Regions Hospital.
