Barbecue Explosion in Phoenix Injures 3 Adults and 2 Children

Five people, including two children, suffered burn injuries after a barbecue exploded at an apartment complex in Phoenix, AZ. The explosion took place on Friday, June 19th shortly before 6:00 PM. Fire crews arrived at the apartment complex near 79th Avenue and McDowell Road to find a smoking barbecue fire. Three adults and two children have been hospitalized. The two children were seriously injured.
