Three people died in a head-on semi crash on the Ohio Turnpike in Fulton County on Monday. The crash happened at about 4:10 PM near milepost 29.5, East of Toledo. An eastbound tractor-trailer crossed the median and crashed head-on into a pick-up truck. The pick-up driver, Refugio Nunez-Pena and his wife Simone Nunez, both of Plymouth, IN, died in the crash. Another passenger, a 15-year-old minor, suffered critical injuries. The semi driver, Kenneth Trowbridge, also died.

After crossing the median, the semi’s trailer came loose and hit another vehicle that was being driven by Isabella Nunez, who was following her parents.
