Elko Nevada Salmonella Outbreak linked to The Grille at Gold Dust West

News Reports on March 15, 2019 have stated that The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (NPBH) suspects at least 17 cases of Salmonella poisoning are linked to The Grille at Old Gold Dust West in Elko Nevada.

The health department is reporting that the root cause has not yet been determined. According to the Elko Daily, Health Department staff have been investigating on site at The Grille at Gold Dust West since March 11th. Department spokespeople said they are also looking at suppliers to the restaurant and have not yet closed the Grille.

Jacob’s Entertainment, the company that operates The Grille at Gold Dust West, is reportedly cooperating fully with the investigation.
