Two Semi Truck Drivers Injured in a Collision in Black River Falls, Wisconsin
Two semi trucks crashed on I-94, injuring both drivers. One was flown by air ambulance to a La Crosse hospital.
A semi truck was parked on the right shoulder of I-94 at exit 115 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. The other semi was traveling eastbound on I-94 when it hit the parked semi.
The accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the accident.
Fatal Iowa Motorcycle Accident
A motorcyclist is dead and another injured after a cattle truck hit them from behind.
Two motorcycles were traveling eastbound on I-80 in Iowa City. They had slowed down due to an accident ahead when a semi truck hit them from behind, pushing them into the ditch. John Harvey, a resident of Manor, Pennsylvania, was killed in the crash. Raymond Mitchell was injured.
The truck driver told the state patrol he was unable to slow down in time. The investigation is ongoing.
Child Tragically Killed When a Car and Tanker Truck Collide
A young boy was tragically killed in a crash involving a car and a tanker truck. The 9-year-old boy was a passenger in the car. The car’s driver and another passenger, a 7-year-old girl, were critically injured.
The accident happened at about 8 a.m. today, August 10, 2018. A car occupied by three people and a tanker truck crashed on Highway 118 near the town of Moorpark. The three people in the car, a woman and two children, were critically injured. They were transported to local hospitals. One of the children, a 9-year-old boy, did not survive his injuries.
The state patrol and the Ventura County Fire Department are investigating.
