Man Suffers Severe Burns from Camper Fire in Mt. Juliet, TN

A man in Mt. Juliet, TN is in critical condition after suffering severe burns in a January 31 camper fire. The 60-year-old was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he is receiving treatment for life-threatening burn injuries.

Firefighters were battling a brush fire off of Cairo Bend Road Tuesday afternoon when they noticed smoke nearby and made their way to its source.  A camper was parked inside a structure at 631 Beckwith Rd. was on fire and the man was inside.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fire. They have not yet determined its source.
