A Sheffield woman was killed in a crash in Iowa on February 16, 2016 when a semi did not stop at a stop sign. The accident happened at 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 65 and County Road C25 near Hampton.
The woman died at the scene, leaving behind her husband and four children. She was heading southbound on 65 in her 1990 Chevy van when the semi tractor trailer ran the stop sign. Her vehicle hit the trailer of the semi. The driver of the semi, 58-year-old Antonio Marecheau of Georgia, was taken to the hospital.
