A man from Donna, TX was hospitalized for treatment of burns he received when a water heater at his home exploded on Sunday. His brother told KRGV News that the victim, who was taken to a San Antonio hospital by ambulance, was trying to re-light the pilot light on the water heater at his home when it exploded severely burning his arm, hands and face.

The victim said he did not smell gas before the incident.

Our law firm recently won a $10 million settlement for a man who did not smell a propane leak before a house exploded.  Our client was severely burned in the explosion, suffering third-degree burns on about 60 percent of his body.
