3 Injured in Semi Crashes in Minnesota

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating 2 crashes on July 20, 2015, involving semi trucks.

A Kenworth semi tractor was traveling westbound on I-94, attempting to a Dodge Ram truck in the left lane. The semi sideswiped the Dodge Ram, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway, enter the left ditch and run into cable barriers.

Injured in the crash was a man from Rice, North Dakota.

The accident happened at milepost 8 at about 2 p.m. The Clay County Sheriff Office assisted at the scene.

Steele County

A semi tractor and Malibu were traveling eastbound on Highway 14. A third vehicle, a Ford Explorer, was traveling westbound. The Malibu was rearended by the semi and then collided with the Explorer.

The driver of the Malibu and the driver of the Ford Explorer were injured in the crash.
