Lanes for Friendship

2013 marked our law firm’s seventh year as a sponsor for Highland Friendship Club’s (HFC) annual bowling tournament, Lanes for Friendship. The event is HFC’s largest fundraiser. This year, Lanes For Friendship raised about $40,000 dollars to support more than 250 members in year-round classes and activities.

Highland Friendship Club is a local non-profit that provides teens and adults with disabilities the opportunity to develop their skills, meet friends and make connections in the community. Members have access to activities such as swimming, dances, local community events, field trips and classes such as music, art, cooking and yoga.

Our law firm has sponsored the event since its inception in 2007.  Each year, special guest Minnesota Twin Joe Mauer along with other local professional and collegiate athletes, joins Highland Friendship Club members, their families and sponsors, to bowl and spend time together.

This year, members of the firm had the opportunity to bowl with former Minnesota Twin Paul “the Ignitor” Molitor. Molitor is a Baseball Hall of Famer and recently announced that he would be returning to the Twins as a member of their coaching staff.

Our law firm has long supported Highland Friendship Club. Attorneys Fred and Renee Pritzker’s son Jacob was one of the first participants of Highland Friendship Club.
