Wisconsin Dump Truck Crash Kills 1 and Injures 2

A dump truck crash in Sigel, WI killed one person and seriously injured two others on Sunday. The crash happened shortly before noon at the intersection of Highway 73 and Highway 186 when a southbound dump truck on Highway 186 failed to yield at a stop sign for a westbound vehicle on Highway 73. A 28-year-old woman who was driving the car and a 4-year-old boy in the back seat, both from Manitowoc, sustained serious injuries. They were transported to Marshfield Medical Center by Life Link III and Wisconsin Rapids Ambulance. William Walsdorf (32), a passenger in the front seat, died at the scene. The dump truck driver had minor injuries.
