A 29-year-old woman was killed in an accident with a tractor trailer on May 9, 2016 around 6:30 p.m. on I-70 near Wentzville. The driver of the big rig missed his exit and was stopped in the left lane and was trying to change lanes. The woman, driving a 2013 Lincoln MKT, could not stop in time and hit the back of the semi.
A woman from Warrenton was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the semi, a 55-year-old from Kelowna, British Columbia, was arrested for “felony careless and imprudent driving.” The truck driver was not injured in the accident.
