Member’s Mark Freeze-Dried Fruit sold at Sam’s Club stores have been recalled for Listeria. Consumers who purchased these products should not eat them as Listeria can cause severe illness and death, and among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriage and stillbirth.

Listeria Symptoms

Symptoms of a Listeria infection usually develop within one to 14 days of exposure, but can sometimes take as long as 10 weeks to develop. They include:

  • Severe headache
  • Stiff neck
  • Fever
  • Muscle aches
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Confusion
  • Loss of balance
  • Convulsions

Pregnant women can suffer miscarriage or stillbirth even if they only have mild, flu-like symptoms
