Listeria Recall for Tuna Salad at Jewel, Randalls…

Tuna salad sold at Jewel Osco, Albertsons, Randalls, and Tom Thumb has been recalled for Listeria. Reser’s Fine Foods prepared the sandwiches and recalled them because they contain breadcrumbs that may be contaminated with Listeria. Ham salad sold under the brand names Reeser’s Fine Foods and Molly’s Kitchen also contains the tainted breadcrumbs.

Consumers who have purchased recalled salads and sandwiches should not eat them as Listeria can cause severe illness and death. Among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriage and stillbirth.
