Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke sold at Costco stores has been recalled for Listeria. Western United Fish Company dba Annasea Foods Group of Kent, WA, issued the recall for 3,314.7 pounds of tuna poke on September 20 after being notified by a supplier that green onions used to prepare the item may be contaminated with the bacteria that can cause severe illness and death.

Symptoms of a Listeria Infection
Listeria symptoms usually develop one to 14 days after eating contaminated food but sometimes it can take as long as 10 weeks for them to develop. They include:
- Severe headache
- HIgh fever
- Stiff neck and other muscle aches
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Confusion
- Loss of balance
- Convulsions
Pregnant women can suffer miscarriage or stillbirth even if they only have mild, flu-like symptoms. At the time of the recall, the company said it was not aware of any illnesses.
