Williams Farms, H&C Farms Tomato Salmonella Recall

Williams Farms Repack of Lodge SC has issued a Salmonella recall for tomatoes sold at stores in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The tomatoes were sold from April 23, 2025, to April 28, 2025. Consumers in those states who purchased tomatoes during the past week should check recall information carefully.

The recalled tomatoes were sold under the Williams Farms and H&C Farms labels in plastic trays with lot codes R4467 or R4470. 

At the time of the recall, the company was not aware of any reported illnesses.

Symptoms of a Salmonella Infection

Symptoms of a Salmonella infection usually develop within six to 72 hours of exposure. They include fever, diarrhea that is sometimes bloody, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Sometimes the infection can get into the bloodstream, producing more severe illness and complications such as infected aneurysms, endocarditis, and arthritis.
