A Listeria recall for cut cantaloupe sold under the brand names Harvest Cuts and Fresh & Finest includes stores in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. The recall covers cut cantaloupe and mixed fruit containing cantaloupe. Consumers who have purchased these products shouldn’t eat them, as Listeria can cause severe illness and death. Among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriage and stillbirth.

The recalled fruit was sold in plastic clamshell containers under the “Harvest Cuts” & Fresh & Finest” brands.
The recall includes both cantaloupe-only and mixed fruit products.
It was sold at grocery stores in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Listeria Symptoms
Usually, symptoms of a Listeria infection appear within 24 hours of exposure but can sometimes take as long as 10 weeks to develop. They include:
- Severe headache
- High fever
- Stiff neck
- Other muscle stiffness
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Diarrhea
- Confusion
- Loss of balance
- Convulsions
Pregnant women can suffer a miscarriage or stillbirth even if they only experience mild flu-like symptoms.
