Salmonella Recall for Helados Mexico Mini Cream Variety Pack

Helados Mexico Mini Cream Variety Packs sold at Walmart and other stores have been recalled for Salmonella. Consumers who have purchased items with the “best by date of “MO Best By 10/11/2025” should not eat them.

Product testing on the mango bars revealed the presence of Salmonella. Symptoms of an infection include nausea, fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. Salmonella infections can cause severe illness requiring hospitalization and are sometimes fatal. At the time of the recall, the company was not aware of any illnesses

The recalled product was sold at stores in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Washington, DC. Some European locations are also included.

The recall includes Walmart stores in the following states – Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Washington DC.

The company has temporarily ceased production while it investigates the root cause of contamination.
