Mighty Sesame Tahini Salmonella Recall at Walmart, Other Stores

Rushdi Food Industries of Israel has issued a Salmonella recall for Mighty Sesame Organic Tahini. The recalled tahini was sold at Walmart an other stores. Consumers who have purchased the product should not eat it.

The recall includes Might Sesame Co. organic tahini sold in squeezable, plastic 10.9-oz bottles with an expiration date of 9/25/23 and the UPC 858313006208.

Where and When Was the Recalled Tahini Sold?

The recalled tahini was distributed to stores from February 23rd, 2023 to March 5th, 2023. Most of the stores that sold the recalled tahini are located in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, according to the company. But some retailers, such as Walmart, sold the product nationwide.
