Listeria Recall – Clio Granola and Greek Yogurt Parfait Bars

Clio Snacks of Piscataway, NJ has issued a Listeria recall for Strawberry Granola & Greek Yogurt Parfait bars. Consumers who have purchased these bars, sold at Walmart stores, should not eat them as Listeria can cause serious illness and death. Among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriages and stillbirths. At the time of the recall, the company was not aware of any illnesses.

Symptoms of a Listeria infection include high fever, severe headache, stiff neck, other muscle stiffness, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions. Often, they appear within a day of exposure but sometimes take as long as 70 days to develop.
