Pritzker Hageman Files Recall Lawsuit for Archer Injured by Hanging Bow Scale

The Pritzker Hageman product liability lawyers filed a recall lawsuit on behalf of a man who was injured by a defective archery product. Our client suffered permanent eye damage after using a defective hanging bow scale that he purchased on Amazon from October Mountain Products (OMP). After following OMP’s instructions for using the bow scale to test the draw strength of a bow, the mounting ring split open and flew off the product, striking our client in the face and left eye. This sent a shock wave through our client’s left eye, dislocating the lens, and causing permanent injuries.

Attorney Raymond Trueblood-Konz says, “When a manufacturer, importer, or retailer finds out that one of its products is unsafe, it should do everything it can to ensure its unsafe product doesn’t hurt or kill someone. That’s not what happened here.”

  • Academy
