Symptoms of a Listeria infection, called listeriosis, include high fever, severe headache, stiff neck, other muscle stiffness, confusion, loss of balance, and convulsions. Sometimes these symptoms are preceded by nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. A pregnant woman with listeriosis can suffer a miscarriage or stillbirth even if she only experiences mild Listeria symptoms.

The recalled green beans were sold in 1-pound packages marked with the lot number 313-626 on the back.

The problem was discovered through routine testing. It was identified as an isolated problem and the company has taken corrective actions.
