Smilin’ Bob’s smoked fish dip has been recalled for possible Listeria contamination. Smilin’ Bob’s used smoked fish produced by Banner to prepare these products.  On June 2, Banner recalled all of its smoked fish products. The recalled products were distributed to retail stores in FL, GA, AL, SC, TN, NC, and VA. They include:

8-ounce round plastic container, best if used by dates Aug 03, 2021, and Aug 10, 2021

Smilin’ Bob’s Key West Style Original Smoked Fish Dip
15.5-ounce plastic container, best if used by dates Aug 03, 2021, and Aug 10, 2021

Smilin’ Bob’s All Natural Smoked Fish Dip
8 ounce round plastic container, best if used by dates Aug 10, 2021

Symptoms of a Listeria infection include high fever, severe headache, muscle stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriages and stillbirths.
