Listeria Recall for MG, Fresh to You Sandwich Wraps Expands

A Listeria recall for sandwich wraps sold under the brand names MG and Fresh to You has been expanded. All three products had “use by” dates of March 7, 2021. Anyone who ate these products should monitor themselves for symptoms of a Listeria infection which include severe headache, high fever, stiff neck, muscle stiffness, and loss of balance. Among pregnant women, Listeria can cause miscarriage or stillbirth even if the mother experiences only mild illness. See a doctor right away and mention your exposure to Listeria if you ate one of these products and became symptomatic.

MG Fresh to You expanded Listeria recall sandwich wraps

The newly recalled products are Roasted Turkey in a Tomato Basil Wrap and The Club in a Spinach Wrap sold under the MG brand and the Deluxe Club Wrap sold under the Fresh To You brand. They were packaged in clear plastic wedges or plastic wrap and sold in vending machines and micro markets located in business locations in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and West Virginia.

The initial recall included, issued March 10, 20201, included sandwiches sold under both brand names. At the time of the recall and the expansion of the recall, the company said it was unaware of any illnesses.
