A Salmonella outbreak linked to hummus served at Moby Dick House of Kabob restaurants in Maryland has sickened nine people. State health officials advise consumers who have purchased hummus at the restaurant to discard it. The restaurant has voluntarily stopped selling hummus.
The illnesses have been reported since September 10. Symptoms of a Salmonella infection include abdominal cramping and diarrhea that can be bloody.
