Man Dies After Semi Backs Over Him at Re-Alliance Scrap Yard

A man has died from injuries he sustained after a semi backed over him at Re-Alliance scrap yard in Minneapolis this morning around 9:20 a.m.

John Elder, a spokesman for the Minneapolis Police Department, told FOX 9 News that the man who died is believed to have been a customer, not an employee, of the scrap yard located in the 1500 block of North 2nd Street. After the accident, he was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
